In conjunction with the South Coast Writers Centre (SCWC), I coordinate and run Go Write Yourself, a series of memoir writing courses. The next upcoming course is online and coming up on Thursday 10th October: Edit, Publish and Promote Your Memoir. This course is specifically tailor-made for memoir writers and addresses all aspects of getting your memoir polished and ready for publication, and then how to promote your unique story. Rest assured though, even if you’re still in the very early stages of writing, you’ll find plenty of good advice and guidance. This is a seven week online course with coursework delivered via the WetInk platform and weekly Zoom meetings on Thursday evenings, 6.30-7.30pm from 10th October to 21st November. This I’m co-running the course with Anne Howell, author of All That I Forgot, a gripping memoir that reads like a psychological thriller. Anne was also previously a journalist for the the Sydney Morning Herald and arts editor of the Eastern Herald.
