The wonderful folks at the South Coast Writers Centre have supported me in setting up a Memoir Writing Workshop on Saturday 17th August at 1:30 p.m (to 3:00 p.m.). Venue is The Lab in The Wollongong City Library and you can book your place through SCWC via 4228 0151 or admin@southcoastwriters.org.au.
The kind (and clever) folks at the centre have also posted an article ‘Behind the Memoir with Mike Cavanagh‘ and many thanks to Amy Fairall for putting it together at such short notice.

I’ll also be doing an interview on ABC Illawarra with Melinda James on Monday 16th at 6:45 a.m. – yes, you did read that correctly, i.e. a quarter to seven in the morning! For those who don’t generally see that time of the day (yep, my hand’s up!) I’m hoping to post the audio online shortly afterwards.
