Had a great time with the We Love Memoirs group on Sunday. I was fortunate to have been selected for a ‘Sunday Spotlight’ by the WLM team and had a lot of fun over the course of what turned out to be a day and a half on line.
I can’t speak highly enough of this kind, respectful but wacky group of people. Some 3,500 members now and growing, with folks from all over the globe. Their passion, as the group name says, is memoirs. Reading them, writing them, discussing them and actively supporting authors of memoirs. A lot of fun stuff – both organised and ‘off the cuff’ – is the norm, with some insightful and intriguing discussions to boot, not just about memoirs but almost anything that grabs someone’s fancy.
WLM is a closed, but very welcoming group. If you’d like to get on board let me know and I’ll arrange it for you. Trust me, you will not regret it if you do.
