The marvelous Robert Fear, a.k.a. ‘Fred’, is running his wonderful travel story competition again this year. It’s great fun and there are cash prizes to be won for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best entries. Even if you’ve never put pen to paper, I heartily recommend getting your short travel stories down on paper. It’s a great group of folks, and you never know, and as I said, it really is a lot of fun. While you’re at it, grab a copy of the compilations Robert’s put together from the previous years entries. The stories are short and highly varied, so it’s a great way to grab a read on the run, or to while away some time skipping from one fantastic place and adventure to another.
